the gones

2013 is already shaping up to be a great year for songs (chek out our new END OF THE LINE single), and some new venues to play, we've already been rocking the free world with the likes of I"m A Boy (buy their new album, SENSATION, cause' it's just that good!), Gata Negra, Tequila Mockingbird to name a few... and in August, new details to come on the 4th year of Bakerfest! Prepare to rock with the gones at a venue near you!

the gones:

Jeff Krauth: Guitar, vox -Pomplamoose fanatic and Madison, Wisc. native, a.k.a., One F Jef, can, at will, skew notes to EPIC proportions. His ROOTS: Husker Du, Fugazi, and The Replacements - filtered thru his wonderfully tortured, psychic soul, channeling punk rocks brutal, yet honest beginnings. The Vendors were tearing up stages all over Colorado before Jef synthesized into the nerve center of the gones. One F crunches ideas down to their essence, stripping away any wasted space/time continuum. He writes beautiful, soul wrenching songs. He rocks classic melodies to their logical core and they twist and weave their way into your sub conscience.

Oscar Pop: Drum Kit, vox -Northern Ohio native "Oscar" (his Mom named him Dave) taps the tubs with haphazard precision. Forged from his ROOTS of Midwest ?hard rock? and -punk-pop, THE British Invasion & Stiff Records, California Music Cuisine: Dead Kennedy's, Black Flag, & Agent Orange set the stage. Pioneering across the country with first, the Resistors, and then, the Guitardoz. While kit-ing for Berkeley Hardcore's "Special Forces", Oscar landed in the middle of mind-altering Bay Area shows forming lasting friendships @ Berkeley?s fame 924 Gilman St. Warehouse. and entertaining the local punk masses w/the likes of: UK Subs, Blatz, Flipper & Green Day.

Matt Sumner: Bass Guitar, vox -Long Beach, CA born Matt Sumner answered the call for Bass Slammer. And THAT, he does! He designs and builds his own bass rigs, & they're art. Matt perfected his bass licks with a stint on the Vegas strip. He's been associated with some of Denver's finest acts like FIVE 52 Fern, The Inactivists, and the Hot Robots. He is Happiest dissecting a song, pushing to get at the nucleus that keeps it moving, unpredictable, pounding like THE MACHINE that drives the gones' triple turbo engines.
